May 2016: Pluribus Partners with AFCEA Belvoir to Raise STEM Scholarship Funds
Pluribus is an active member of The Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA), a non-profit organization committed to serving the communications, electronics and information systems community. On 25 April 2016, Pluribus partnered with AFCEA’s Ft. Belvoir chapter to help raise funding for its annual merit-based scholarship program that supports qualified students who are pursuing degrees in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) technical fields and those supportive of our national security. On behalf of our veteran employee workforce, Pluribus is proud to have contributed to and served as a Wounded Warrior Sponsor for the Fourth Annual AFCEA–Belvoir Educational Golf Tournament, where more than $30,000 was raised for this worthy cause.

April 2016: Increased Business Development Efforts Pay Off for Pluribus!
In the first quarter of 2016, Pluribus’ hard work for much of last year in the area of new business development finally paid off, as we were awarded a significant new contract to provide counterintelligence (CI) and security support services to the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA). Under this new program, Pluribus will provide CI and Security experts to DTRA’s Office of Security and Counterintelligence (J0XS) at various operating locations for the next five years, as a subcontractor to a small business Prime.

In addition, as of the end of April, Pluribus has 20 separate proposals under evaluation by the following Government agencies, many of which we expect to be awarded in the coming months:

  • Department of Energy (DOE)
  • Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA)
  • Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI)
  • Missile Defense Agency (MDA)
  • National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA)
  • Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR)

It’s important to remember that “We’re all in sales!”, meaning that each employee is selling the Pluribus brand of “Excellence With Integrity” every time you engage a Government customer, another company, or each other. If you know of upcoming opportunities within your customer space or at other agencies, please forward the details up your chain of command. If there are good companies you think we should reach out to, either for specific efforts or just a general introduction, send those up, as well. Remember, the next position you help Pluribus win may be a growth opportunity for you and your colleagues!

December 2015: Pluribus CI Analysts Recognized for Meritorious Service
Several Pluribus intelligence analysts performing on our “Counterintelligence Support to Research, Development, Acquisitions (RDA) and Defense Critical Infrastructure Protection (DCIP)” task in support of the Defense Intelligence Agency were presented with two Director of National Intelligence Meritorious Unit Citations for extraordinary support to two named initiatives. The National Intelligence Meritorious Unit Citation recognizes single acts of meritorious service performed by an Intelligence Community team or organizational unit. Emphasis is placed on those units with individuals from two or more Intelligence Community elements whose collective efforts for the Intelligence Community are notable and deserving of special recognition. Both Pluribus’ RDA and DCIP teams remain at the forefront of providing actionable operational and strategic intelligence analyses to the greater Intelligence Community. These awards recognized our teams’ work ethic, commitment to the mission, and ability to provide cutting edge and actionable analysis to counter the significant threats of foreign intelligence collection against the U.S. From the citation:

“The Team distinguished itself by standing up the very first enterprise-wide initiative designed to thwart United States adversaries from obtaining DoD emerging technologies. This nascent effort promoted and incorporated the protection of technologies within the entire spectrum, which resulted in countering key adversary efforts to acquire sensitive technologies that provide the United States with a technological advantage. The steadfast commitment and enterprise approach to supporting operations and key decision makers resulted in the pursuit of numerous investigations and policy changes. The Team’s distinguished accomplishments reflect the highest credit upon its members, the Defense Intelligence Agency, and the Intelligence Community.”

Over the last four years, Pluribus intelligence analysts have been instrumental in the standup of these initiatives, working directly with the government customer to develop programs that don’t simply provide strategic analysis, but rather embrace an inclusive community approach consisting of both strategic and operational support in an effort to identify and neutralize foreign intelligence threats. These accomplishments demonstrate how Pluribus continues to provide the highest levels of service to the U.S. government via its highly skilled and experienced team of intelligence professionals.
